Yes… information!
The website ransomNews.online minimizes any data processing. It does not use cookies, does not contain trackers, does not rely on fingerprinting or any other technology that collects user data.
Anyone can access the site without leaving a trace, without being profiled, and without sharing their activity with third parties.
We’re not interested in “figuring out whether you're a replicant or a lesbian.”
ransomNews does not process personal data - or more precisely, we only carry out processing that does not require identification (see Article 11 GDPR: https://gdpr-text.com/read/article-11/). The only form of processing is technical and necessary for the site to display correctly. When you connect to our hosting server, your device’s IP address is temporarily used to deliver content. We’d gladly do without it, and for that reason, we encourage you to browse anonymously using a VPN or via TOR (https://www.torproject.org).
To protect users connecting with unfiltered IPs, we’ve applied a “limiting mechanism with a short lifespan”: server logs are retained only for the strictly necessary time, after which all data is erased... and all that data “will be lost in time, like tears in rain.”
Our approach to data protection is radical: we’ve partnered with companies that share our principles and values because we never want one of our partners to say, “I’ve seen things… questionable things…”.
If you choose to contact us to exercise your GDPR rights (like access, correction, deletion, etc. — see this page: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/regolamentoue/diritti-degli-interessati), we will need to identify you. This means processing data we currently do not collect. If you do contact us, we’ll respond—and we must keep a record of that response.
The same applies to commercial inquiries: if you write to us, we’ll respond and store the correspondence.
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home/diritti/come-agire-per-tutelare-i-tuoi-dati-personali.
This privacy notice does not apply to our social channels or to third-party websites, even if accessible via links from ransomNews.
